  We encourage you to enroll in the Speed Reading and Study Strategies program offered through the Rutgers University Office of Continuous Education and Outreach. In just two weekends, this course will increase your effectiveness as a reader and a student.
  These popular classes are taught by professional instructors from the Institute of Reading Development, which has been teaching these classes for 34 years.
  
  All curriculum materials have been reviewed and endorsed by the Rutgers Center for Effective School Practices. This Rutgers University Division of Continuous Education and Outreach program is not affiliated with the Rutgers Graduate School of Education.
  
  Program Description
  In this program you will double your reading speed in textbooks, and triple your speed in easier reading materials. In addition, you will learn comprehension, concentration, and retention techniques that will enable you to remember more, even though you are reading much faster. You will learn the best way to study textbooks, take notes, prepare for tests, and develop your vocabulary. As a result, you will be able to finish your school assignments in less time, and get better grades. When you complete this course you will be able to understand and retain information better and prepare for tests more efficiently, without extensive rereading. As a course participant, you will receive free lifetime repeat privileges.
