Course description

An introduction to basic vocabulary and grammar. Students learn how to ask and answer questions used in everyday situations. The course includes some writing of basic sentences, phrases, and expressions.

Please note that any level can be taken either as a Short Course (also called part time course), or as part of one of our Intensive Programs of 18 hours per week or more. Be sure to take our online test to see what course level would be right for you! The textbooks and audio CDs for the first five levels are our own NYLC textbooks from the "New Beginnings" series.
