How to Maintain and Grow a Successful Family Business - Course

  • Course description Are you a company founder or a member of a second-, third- or fourth-generation family-owned business? Are you a manager or employee working in a family run business? If you fit into any of these categories, then you are well aware of the complexities of businesses run by fathers, mothers, sons and daughters, in-laws, uncles and cousins. In fact, there is not always a clear line between an employee and who she or he may report to. This seven-week course will provide you with answers to your questions and ideas and techniques about how to deal with the day-to-day challenges of a family business. We will review case studies and discuss well-known businesses, some that were successful and some that failed. Members of well-known family businesses will be invited to discuss their companies and offer answers to your questions.
