Course description
This interdisciplinary major is focused on biology and the physical sciences, and incorporates a significant amount of mathematics. The major is research-oriented and is designed to prepare students for graduate studies, medical schools, or careers in biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry. * Chemistry 121. Principles of Physical Chemistry
* One additional elective lab course selected in consultation with the faculty advisor
* Two-semester thesis with lab: Biology 188L-190L. Senior Research-Senior Experimental Thesis in Biology; Biology 188L may not be counted as an advanced elective course
