One term of 3D Fundamentals or equivalent

Course Description:

This course will cover the tools and materials of welded sculpture. Every student will have the opportunity to gas weld, arc weld and cut steel with fire. Students will create pieces and learn the tools of bending, cutting and shaping metal. This course will also cover various types of metal, where to find metal and safety issues. In addition to the class, students are encouraged to work in the studio during designated lab times.
