In the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design degree program, students will engage in at least two areas of today's graphic design specializations in depth. Design students have the opportunity to broaden their career choices, gain new insights, and develop their portfolios. They will explore the conceptualization skills and production tools that they will need to produce professional-level products in such areas as advertising, editorial and corporate design, information design, multimedia design, creative typography, magazine and book illustration, corporate marketing materials, 3-D design, motion graphics, and web and e-design. These programs also incorporate creative and theoretical bases for further study and future developments in the graphic design profession. The College supplements the student's access to the computer studios with open studio time and an internship program that functions as an in-house design studio.
This exciting program could help graduates pursue graphic design career success in areas such as: advertising, editorial & corporate design, commercial illustration, multimedia, design studios, typography, magazine & book illustration, corporate marketing, the Internet and e-commerce.
