Course descriptionAt the Vet Tech Institute at Bradford School, vet techs are trained to work under the supervision of a veterinarian and can perform a variety of important procedures, like taking x-rays, running lab tests, administering vaccines, performing dental work, assisting in surgery and counseling owners on follow-up care. At the Vet Tech Institute, students have access to an on-site kennel , surgical suites, industry standard equipment, and on-staff veterinarians.
Program Highlights
A variety of on-site animals to provide hands-on training. Concentration in animal anatomy and physiology, anesthesia, and a large animal practicum. Externship experience to apply classroom knowledge. The Bradford School Veterinary Technician Program is accredited by the AVMA as a program for educating veterinary technicians.
