Beginning
Drawing classes develop basic drawing skills using a variety of media and subject matter, i.e., models, still-lifes, landscapes, etc. An emphasis on composition, contour, gesture, value, and linear perspective is also conveyed. Intermediate and advanced drawing classes integrate the principles of drawing and design into a meaningful structure on a two-dimensional surface.
Advanced courses also emphasize human anatomy for the artist, encourage the development of both traditional and alternative media, and allow for the exploration of personal directions and concepts.
