• Course description
  The Medical Assistant program introduces students to anatomy and physiology of the body systems, medical terminology, and required clinical and administrative skills needed for an entry-level Medical Assistant position. Students will engage in ""hands on" training in clinical and administrative procedures such as injections, veni-puncture, telephone techniques, filing and preparation of medical records. After successful completion of all classroom training, the student will then complete an externship in a healthcare setting.
