Language Door Los Angeles offers small interactive Hindi classes. Our comfortable, casual environment helps to make learning Hindi fun and convenient. We schedule our classes at times that work for busy adults. Enrich your life as you learn one language or learn many.

Course description
Beginning A (chapters 1-4)
Topics - meeting people, quality and quantity, locations, comparisons, etc.
Grammar and usage - Hindi script & sound system, personal pronouns, nouns, agreement of adjectives, postpositions, past tenses, on, gender (masculine & feminine), adjectives, verbs, possessive adjective, polite questions, the nominative, the accusative, prepositions, the present tense, etc.
Beginning B (chapters 5-9)
Topics - culture, 'want', 'can', transport, travel, seasons, weather, food, meals, telephone, directions, etc.
Grammar and usage - locative, dative, soft nouns, neuter nouns, feminine nouns, verb pairs, present & future tense, etc.
Beginning C (chapters 10-14)
Topics - giving instructions, shopping, tell the time, leisure, comparisons & preferences, etc.
Grammar and usage - the imperative, diminutives, plurals, plural adjectives, ordinal numbers, comparative adjectives, irregular comparatives, genitive, etc.
Beginning D (chapters 15-18)
Topics - work, living standard, pub & restaurant, street talk, etc.
Grammar and usage - reported speech, possessives, passive sentences, frequentatives, relatives, etc.
