Located in the northwest suburbs of the Twin Cities, our Minneapolis Campus has prepared students for dynamic careers in technology, business and the growing field of health care. Year in and year out, our graduates have exceeded the expectations of employers in the area and throughout the U.S. Our focused degree programs concentrate on skills necessary to succeed every day in the fields of technology, business, and health care.

The Minneapolis campus was formed from two schools, the Minneapolis Drafting School and the Lakeland Medical Dental Academy. The Minneapolis Drafting School was founded in 1961 and established a reputation as a premier provider of highly skilled drafters in the Twin Cities area. In June of 2000, it became part of the Herzing University, which operates campuses in eight U.S. states plus an online division. In May of 2002, the Lakeland Medical Dental Academy, a long standing leader in allied health education in Minneapolis, became part of Herzing University Minneapolis. Now known as The Lakeland Healthcare Division, it offers diploma and degree programs in Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene, nursing, and more.

Herzing University in Minneapolis occupies a 25,000-square-foot building containing classrooms, computer, medical, and dental labs, library / resource center, student lounge, and administrative offices.
