Panther Recreation
Intramural sports programs promote a healthy lifestyle in a fun and interactive environment. Panther Recreation offers intramural sports and activities every semester, such as volleyball, flag football and the annual Homecoming Chili Cook Off.
Student Activities
With the help of the Student Activities Committee , Davenport offers a variety of social, educational and entertainment events including comedians, musicians and speakers. They also plan traditional events like Pantherpalooza, Spring Fling, Homecoming and Siblings Weekend.
Volunteer Center
The Volunteer Center strives to provide students with opportunities to serve their community, to expand and enrich their social and educational experiences, and challenge them to be committed to a life of community service.
Business Professionals of America (BPA)
The Business Professionals of America organization is dedicated to preparing a world-class workforce by advancing students' leadership, citizenship, academic and technical skills. Davenport's BPA club competes regularly at state and national competitions every year. More information (coming soon).

Study Abroad
What better way to learn about other nations and broaden your perspective than to study abroad? Davenport offers a number of programs annually, from faculty-led study groups to AIFS exchange programs and more.
Student Center
Dedicated in October of 2008, the new Student Center on Davenport’s W.A. Lettinga campus aims to provide space for social, recreational, and athletic activities. The LEED certified building is 87,000 square feet and includes meeting rooms, a dining area, fitness center, a running track and more. In addition to becoming the hub of student life and activity, the building also houses the Student Life department which plans and hosts social and recreational activities all around campus.
The 1,500-seat field house within the Student Center provides the first home court for the Davenport University Panthers men’s and women’s basketball and women’s volleyball teams. The seat capacity also provides the first opportunity for large gatherings for special student and community events.
Fitness Center
Located on the lower level of the student center on the main campus, the Davenport University Fitness Center is supervised by fitness professionals and coaching staff, and outfitted with state-of-the-art cardio and strength-training equipment. Locker rooms with showers and towel service are also available.
While exercising, you can watch satellite television on one of our many flat screen TVs, and listen with pocket radios provided at the front desk (please bring your own headphones).
