Modern management control is dependent upon an organizations effective use of computer systems. Based on this premise, the emphasis in the Computer Information Science major is on business applications of the computer. The curriculum provides the student with in-depth expertise in the most popular of computer languages, knowledge of accounting techniques, systems analysis and design, as well operations management of computer installation.
