Course Description:
Central Penn Advantages for Legal Studies Majors
* Offer paralegals currently employed in the field the opportunity to obtain a bachelors
degree
* Gain hands-on experience in legal research, legal writing and through mock trial
* Learn about substantive and procedural law in a variety of fields including torts,
contracts, criminal law and procedure, constitutional law,administrative law, civil
litigation, evidence, alternative dispute resolution, and cyber law
* Fully stocked on-site law library enhanced by computerized legal research

Admissions Requirements
Due to the academic rigor of this program, a 3.00 GPA is strongly recommended for acceptance, a 2.00 GPA is required.
Legal Internship
Upon completion of your Legal Studies Bachelor's degree program course work, you will participate in a professional internship. This is the last step in your development toward professional success. You will sharpen your skills and personal attributes by directly interacting with legal professionals in a variety of settings, including law firms, agencies and the courts.
Through the years Central Penn has developed a close working relationship with many legal professionals across Pennsylvania. As a result, Central Penn interns and graduates find the door open to them at a number of locations.
