What kind of work does a Criminal Justice graduate do?
Within the Criminal Justice Associate degree program, you will learn to enforce laws, gather and compile statistical information, detect and apprehend criminals, prevent crime and delinquency, rehabilitate offenders, and provide safety and security to those around you. The positions available to Criminal Justice Associates students* include:
* State and local police departments
* Private security firms
* Sheriff's departments
* Federal border patrol
* U.S. Marshall's office
* State and Federal correctional facilities
* Private prison programs
* Bank security and fraud prevention
* Insurance investigation and fraud prevention

Admissions Requirements
The following are strongly recommended:
* Strong background in oral and written communication
* High school GPA of 2.0 ( C ) average or better
Internship
Upon completion of your Criminal Justice degree program course work, you will participate in a 180-hour professional internship. During your internship, you will sharpen your skills and personal attributes as you work with professionals in the field in actual situations. The internship gives you the opportunity to use all the knowledge you acquired while attending Central Penn. The following is a partial list of places student have interned**:
