There's a growing need for employees who specialize in home entertainment equipment and commercial and industrial electronic equipment, as well. Individuals with advanced training can go on to become specialists who work with other technicians to diagnose especially difficult problems, or consult with engineering experts to design equipment and develop maintenance procedures.
